You sleep in other rooms just so that you can get some change
Have you been avoiding your bedroom just because it has become a very boring and monotonous sight? If you sleep on the couch in your living room for a change of environment, it just means that you have been cooped up in your room for really long and you are looking for some change irrespective of how small it is. It is not necessary that your room will be the only place you would like to avoid. You might even start staying out of your house just for some change in your schedule and ambiance. If that is the situation, then you are in need of an urgent vacation so that you can have a fresh perspective of things.
Work feels more stressful than usual
If the little things at work which had earlier been completely unimportant have started annoying you, then you are just getting tired of everything around you and what you need is a change. When we just keep working for days at a stretch, go home to sleep and hardly meet people, we are bound to get stressed because there is so much that we are taking in everyday but there is hardly a place or people to vent it out to. As a result, even the simplest of jobs start stressing us out and the only thing that can help in such situations is a much deserved break. Take a long vacation (as much as your company is willing to give) and just unwind.

Has everything and everyone around you started to annoy and irritate you? If that is happening to you, then you better believe that it’s about you and not the people around you. Take a break, go to a serene and calm location, pamper yourself with some spa treatment and relax so that when you come back as an altered man.
You are having nightmares about work
You can understand that your mind and body is overworked when you start having work related nightmares. Dreams are nothing but a manifestations of our repressed feelings, desires and fears so when you have troubling falling asleep or sleeping peacefully, you really should consider a vacation if you are keen on keeping your sanity. Work is very important but there is no point in pushing yourself to a place where everything becomes difficult.
You feel jealous or get annoyed when you see others having fun
If you don’t like the idea of people around you having fun and enjoying themselves, that’s probably because you want to be in their shoes and since you can’t it just annoys you further. Instead of harboring ill feelings against others, try to go for a trip and relax.
You watch exotic vacation spots on TV and imagine yourself to be there
Whenever you see any vacation spot, do you constantly keep wishing you were there? If that is so, then you probably should go instead of just sitting at home and worrying about everything that has happened and everything that hasn’t.
You start thinking about the next weekend from Sunday evening
Everyone hates going to work on a Monday morning because we all want another day off but are you the kind of person who keeps cribbing about Monday mornings from Sunday evening and keeps thinking about the next weekend, praying for it to come sooner than usual? Well, in that case, you probably need to get an extension on your weekend so that you can just have fun and enjoy yourself for a couple of days
You don’t remember when your last vacation was
If you cannot even remember the time you took your last vacation or what you did in it, then you really should just take one right away. Just think about the excessive pressure you have put yourself under in order to have forgotten when you last went out of the city.
