So in this post I will tell how you can make money by selling your web design services.
How To Get Clients
I assume that you don’t have much money to invest or advertise your business so to that the clients you need to reach them and ask for work directly. So, in that case you can reach to potential buyers via online forums.
Almost, every forum has the buy, sell or trade section from where you can advertise you’re services (some may charge money) or whenever a person posts a job that you can do then just approach that person. You should also mention how much time and how much money you will charge for completing the work, it will increase your chances to get the work (also don’t ask for a price until or unless you understand the work completely).

I have recently read a book “The Dream” written by Gurbaksh Chahal, if you don’t know about him then you should read about him, and you will find his story very inspiring. He mentioned in his book that business is about creating the positive perception about you and your business.

You can do that by presenting yourself more professionally to them. Most of the people who are selling services on forums will just PM you and reply to your thread in order to get the work, so if you do the same thing there would be no difference between you and them.
So, I suggest you to invest little money and buy a domain name, hosting and create a website and setup your email address. You can also make few products like (5 page website for $100 etc) and list them on your site and at the end of that page place the PayPal button of your account. It will help your client to pay you easily and create a good impression about you and your business.
I am sure if you follow the above two steps you will start making money within a week, as I can say it from experience. Once you start getting few orders and starts building your clientele then do start outsourcing or hire any virtual assistant since it will help you to manage the work more easily and it’s also very necessary to scale up your business.
