As you know eBay is the world’s largest online trading platform and millions of people use it every day in order to buy things from furniture to luxury cars. Buying on eBay is easy and fun since you can shop in the comfort of your home. You will also find rare things on eBay for a very cheap price. But, in order to buy anything on eBay there are few thing you need to setup and understand:
Sign up for an eBay account
This is the first requirement you need to fulfill before making any purchase on eBay. There is no restriction for browsing products on eBay but in order to buy or sell on eBay you need to have an eBay account. It is very easy to setup the account with eBay and it is completely free.
You just need to go to the registration page of the eBay and fill out the small form with your details to get the account.
Sign up for a PayPal account
PayPal is the subsidiary of eBay and it is the preferred payment method used by the most of the vendors on eBay. You can process all your online transaction using the PayPal and it is the most secured online payment platform. It is also very easy to setup an account on PayPal, you just need to click here and sign up for a personal account in order to get started.
Browse categories or search eBay
Use the search feature of eBay in order to find the specific products, you can also find the products by browsing the categories on eBay. Browsing the categories on eBay could be fun at times as eBay have many categories and sub categories but if you have something specific in mind then I recommend you to use the search feature on eBay.
eBay auctions
There are two ways to make purchase on eBay, you can either choose to bid for a product or you can just buy the product using the “buy it now” option.
You can bid the highest amount that you want to pay for a product and then eBay will place your bid with the others bid. The highest bidder will win the auction. It is also good to check the product details carefully and the shipping charges.
You should also ask questions to the seller if you have any doubt about the product and do check the photographs of the product as it will give you the good idea about the condition of the product.
Payment using the PayPal
After winning an auction you just need to pay for that stuff using the PayPal. You will also get the email notification after wining the bid and then you can login into you PayPal account to pay for that product.
After completing the payment, you just need to wait for the product to arrive in the mail :-)
