By Nimit On January 28, 2010 Under Web Hosting, Wordpress Hacks

DreamHost is one of the biggest hosting company and has been providing hosting since 1997.I have been using DreamHost for almost 11 months and I am very happy with their service.

In this post I am going to tell you how you can easily install the wordpress Blog using DreamHost one click installation feature. I would also like to tell that after installing the wordpress using DreamHost one click installation, when you login into your account, you will find that most of the necessary Plugins and some best selected wordpress themes will already get installed with their installation. This is a very time saving feature.

In order to install the wordpress into your domain using DreamHost one click installation feature you need to first login into your DreamHost hosting account and then choose a one click installation feature that you can find on the left side of the menu bar.

After clicking the one click installation you will be presented with three options to install wordpress.

  • Install new website software – Easy Mode
  • Install new website software – Advanced Mode
  • Upgrade or remove previously Installed Software – Advanced mode

After that the system will give you the options to choose the software that you would like to install on your domain name. Now you need to choose the wordpress and after that when you scroll down, you will see a tab “install it for me now” just click on that tab and you are done with your wordpress installation :-)
