Perfect skin, the type that models have is not a faraway dream if you were to just put in a little bit of effort. If you aspire to have a glowing healthy complexion, a combination of some simple steps can get you there.
Some people are lucky enough to be born with a flawless complexion and they don’t need to spend any extra time on improving it. But sadly enough, not everyone has been born with a great skin. The point is, with today’s techniques and knowledge one can still improve their skin tone over time.
Perfect skin can come about with the help of natural or even manufactured products. Depending on the time you have to yourself you could choose your method accordingly.

Drink plenty of water

Water is an essential source of nutrition for the body, not only does it hydrate the body it also flushes out all the toxins in the body. It’s no secret that model and actors across the world drink plenty of water to help improve their skin and to maintain a healthy glowing complexion. It’s advisable to drink at least a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day.

Eat right

The food you eat can greatly affect your skin texture and health. This is why you should watch your diet, include a lot of vegetables and fruits to your daily diet. Simple salads and boiled vegetables are natural food sources that can help your skin retain its glow and texture. Try to avoid fried foods, junk foods and alcohol. Furthermore, caffeine is also known to have a negative impact on the skin, so if you must have that coffee on a daily basis, reduce the number of cups you drink.

Moisturize your skin
Invest in a good moisturizer and moisturize the skin regularly. Apply your lotion on your skin before sleeping everyday so that it can soak into your pores while you sleep. If you live in a cold country / city then moisturize your skin at least 2 times a day for best effects.
Avoid long hours in the sun
Not only does intense sunlight tan the skin, it also damages the skin. If you want to get a tan, then choose the evening to get a tan because the sun is not that strong or intent at that time. If you have to step out in the sun, be sure to apply a lot of sun block to your skin, especially the parts that are exposed to the sun. But the best bet would be to avoid long hours in the sun. Another way is to tie a scarf around your face / exposed skin when you step out in peak sun light.
Get adequate sleep
The key to glowing skin is adequate sleep. You cannot compromise on your sleep if you want perfect skin. Every normal person needs at least 8 hours of sleep every day. So reduce the number of times you go out during the week and learn to sleep on time. This will energize you and help you get perfect skin.
Regular Exercise
When you exercise, your body pumps blood through your system thus boosting your energy, stamina and skin texture. This is why you will always notice a flush on your face every time you exercise. Exercising also helps keep the body in shape and this is important for perfect skin. If you don’t get time to exercise often, exercise for at least 15 minutes everyday.
Meditation / Yoga

Meditation gives one immense peace of mind. This helps the skin glow and stay clear. This is why simple things like meditation or yoga are very important. Even if you get time to perform these activities just twice in the week, it’s highly beneficial for improving your skin and overall health.
